How it Works

Step 1: Contact Us to Get Started

Contact our team of dental professionals here at our Lewis Center smile center via phone or our appointment request form. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible to set up an initial free consultation at our North Orange Smiles Lewis Center office.

During the first appointment, we'll decide on your treatment plan and establish goals for the final positioning of your teeth.

Step 2: Begin Wearing Your Aligners

You'll then start wearing your aligners. Remove them only to eat, drink, brush your teeth, and floss. After two weeks, you'll move on to the next set of aligners.

As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move gradually (little by little, week by week) until they reach their final position.

Step 3: Visit Us Once Every 6 Weeks

Stop into our offices for check-ins once every 6 weeks. During these appointments, we'll ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned and address any outstanding concerns that might arise.

Step 4: Finish Treatment and Enjoy Your New Smile!

Usually, patients spend about nine to fifteen months using Invisalign® before the goal positioning of the teeth is reached. During this period, the average patient will cycle through anywhere between 18 and 30 sets of aligners. However, these numbers are simply estimates and both figures will vary depending on the individual person.
